THE VAST BUT AMUSING INDIAN CULTURE


A mélange of diverse ethnic groups classifies this great continent called India. Home to about a billion people and though this country belongs to the 3rd world but this great continent has great Indian culture and traditions that will surely fascinate you.

One common thing that you will find about the Indian Culture is that if there is any special event, big or small, there is always singing and dancing taking place.  Even foreigners, can partake in this festive like culture that you will surely enjoy. As you can see, the Indian’s are quite welcoming and very friendly folk.

If you ever have plans to visit India, there is a certain place hear called Bollywood, quite familiar sounding right? This place, Bollywood perfectly rhymes with Hollywood and furthermore, this is exactly the equivalent place to visit in India to Hollywood.

When it comes to sports, the most famous is Cricket. India has been known to have the best Cricket players you can find. Furthermore, almost every cricket enthusiast in India, both young and old, also knows how to play cricket. You can literally find a group of people playing cricket in the streets and, to add, you will surely be invited to play with them even if you are still new to that place.Cricket is so famous in the Indian Culture that they made days holidays if there is any big game of cricket happening in which England, Australia and Pakistan are the most common teams that go against the Indian team.

One very enjoyable aspect of the Indian culture is their love and passion of the arts. As said before, their love for music is so great that they sing and dance for an event big or small and even bursts out a song with really no apparent reason. Furthermore, the movie and song industry is quite big in India. If you have ever watched an Indian film, you may notice that their movies almost always have a moral behind it; may it be with regards to love, courtship and friendship.

Though this continent may be a 3rd world country but this does not mean it cannot have a great and rich culture. For sure, you will enjoy the sights, the culture and the people of India.
