JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ON CHINESE CULTURE FOOD

Almost anywhere in the world you can practically find a Chinese restaurant and, to add, more than one Chinese restaurant exists. As you can see Chinese food is really popular all over the world but what makes it that popular? Furthermore, why is Chinese food, well, Chinese food? Well, we are here to answer just that and even more about Chinese culture food.

Brief History
To really understand Chinese culture food, it is always best that we start at the beginning. Chinese cooks will surely agree that cooking is not only a mere craft but it is pure art. Compared to other countries, Chinese believe that it is not merely cooking and preparing the food but it is more than that. Furthermore, the art of preparing and cooking Chinese culture food is very different from other countries. Chinese cooks are required to have expertise on these fields. For example, when it comes to noodles, many countries today use a machine to automatically make stretch the dough and make the noodle. However, in Chinese food, noodle is stretched using the hands. Put it this way, with the right pressure exerted on the dough the taste of the noodle is affected. That is why Chinese made noodles is always more delectable and tastier compared to the noodles that are made in other countries.

Confucianism and Taoism
One factor that affects Chinese culture food is Confucianism philosophies. You may not know this but Confucianism also dictates table etiquette and how the food should look like. One example is that in Chinese foods, food must be cut into smaller bite size pieces before serving it. This explains why food served by Chinese is not whole.

So, if you ever plan to eat in a Chinese restaurant and notice that the food is not served bite size then you can say that the restaurant is not a real Chinese restaurant but it is only for the restaurant’s name sake.

Another is Taoism. When it comes to food Taoism basically focuses on the health benefits of the food. Even in history you can see that Taoist search and only eat food that are healthy; increases health and longevity.

So, you can really say that Chinese foods are healthy foods based on these factors.

As you can see Chinese culture food is both presentable, easy to eat and very healthy. Of course, there is more to that when t comes to Chinese food. Still, you can assure yourselves that these Chinese food are good for you and surely taste great.
