The city of Dalat is built on the Lang Biang highlands, North of Lam Dong province, about 308km away from Ho Chi Minh City.
Dalat is par as city of thousand flowers, city of fog, where the stories of romantic was introduced on poetry. With beautiful scenery and cool climate, Dalat was formerly a favorite getaway during French colonial times, and is now a famous tourist city. The French influence in the city can be seen in the architecture, Dalat also has many attractions such as golf course, Xuan Huong Lake, Dalat Flower garden, Lang Biang mountain, Datanla waterfall, Prenn waterfall, Truc Lam pagoda, cable cars, Valley of Love, Mong Mo Hill, and Golden Valley
Dalat city is probably one of Vietnam's most well known vacation destination. Since the turn of the century, Da Lat has been the vacation spot for well-to-do vietnamese and foreigners.
