Welcome to Vietnamese culture. I consider myself to be Vietnamese. We have over 4,000 years of history. My ancestors believe that we are the children of the dragon and goddess. Throughout Vietnamese history, there has not been a time when Vietnamese people are not at war. First, the Chinese, Japanese, French, and a civil war. Due to wars, Vietnamese culture has been shaped and changed through time. In this section, I will concentrate on Vietnamese culture, etiquette, and customs.
A side note -- the Chinese invaded Vietnam and stayed over 1,000 years. Hence our culture is very similar to theirs. Hope you enjoy your stay and learn with me.
