Never one to do anything half-assed, rapper Lil Wayne underwent a marathon root canal session earlier this week, with a whopping 8 teeth needing treatment.
His mouth was apparently in such dire need of medical attention that he actually had his prison sentence for gun possession postponed to have the oral surgery. While he was there, he also had several tooth implants redone, more implants added, the last of his few real teeth repaired, and even had his diamond-encrusted grill worked on. The procedure lasted 8 hours in total, but no word on how much novocaine was required.
