MORE ABOUT THE MEXICAN CULTURE FOOD TORTILLAS


There are quite a lot of Mexican culture foods you can find. Two of them are tacos and burritos and the common ingredients that these foods use are called tortillas. You can actually find ready-made tortillas in the market but would not it be good if you can make it in your own? If you ever want to make tacos or burritos I am pretty sure that you go for the market tortillas, which is, I can assure you, could lessen the taste of you are what you are making. Then it is rolled and pressed and then tossed into a griddle or if you do not have pan, just cook it in a non-stick pan. For those who do not masahariña is, this is a type of flour made basically from dried corn. For sure you can buy this any supermarket in your place.

In making the perfect tortilla first you need to have the perfect mix of water and this special flour. The best part in making your own Mexican culture food tortilla is that you can manipulate the texture. However, take note that masahariña does not have the stickiness of dough when mixed with water. So, do not depend on the stickiness of the tortilla dough you are making for your desired texture.

Making a tortilla is quite easy and with a little bit of practice you make the best tortillas around. Furthermore, you can also do experiments and add spices and other ingredients to your tortillas. As you can see, there are endless possibilities if you make your own tortillas.

Of course, let us not forget that this is a great Mexican culture food that has been long existed and passed down from generation to generation in Mexico and great enough, we will able to taste this great dish of the Mexicans.
