A VIEW ON INDIAN RELIGION AND MUCH MORE

The Indian culture has quite a long history and very diverse culture. One of the key reasons why Indian has such a long history is because India, long ago, it was just a sub-continent of the Middle East. In the passing of time many things have happened; wars after wars and invasions after invasions which has eventually influenced and molded what is India today. One of the most significant things in India is the Indian religion and this article will discuss just that.

As said before, many foreign countries have invaded India. Furthermore, many people have also invaded and settled here. There are also religions that have influenced many people here as time passed by. Still, one great thing about India is that though there are many cultures and religions these people are united. Still, you would expect different Indian religion to have distinct cultures and traditions amongst themselves.

Indian Religion
In India, four Indian religions are Christianity, Hinduism, Muslim and Buddhism. Though these religions may be diverse and many beliefs are not related but these people, though in different religions, are really united. If you ever are in India, they treat each other like brothers and sisters. One common custom here in India is that the father is always the head of the house, and no one makes an important decision without the opinions and advises of the whole family.

Holidays
The most celebrated and quite emotional holidays for the Indian people are Republic day, Gandhi Jiyanti and Independence Day. These three holidays are also the national holidays of India. Other celebrated holidays and festivals in India are Diwali, Durga Pooja and Chatori which is a real must to see if you ever plan to visit India.

Muslim festivals
In today’s time, the Muslim religions ranks the second in the number of followers here in India. Just like any other Muslim believer they celebrate Eid-ul-Azha, Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitar. If you look at it, the Muslim clothing and styles really does not differ to the traditional clothing of India. However, if you look at it closely, you can really see the difference. Indian clothes are more colorful and very vibrant compared to the Muslim attire. Furthermore, traditional Indians almost always were these types of clothes.
