A BIT OF RICH MEXICAN CULTURE


The world is quite a vast place isn’t it? Many places to go, many sights to see and many wonders to be amazed but, of course, studying the whole world would take a lifetime to fully understand and this article is here to give you a step forward in just doing that. This article here, as the title suggest, will discuss a bit of Mexican culture and, for sure, after reading this article you will know a bit of rich Mexican heritage, traditions and more.

Mexico can be considered a heterogeneous country mainly because of the regional and ethnic diversity of the country. Furthermore, the socioeconomic divisions within the populous make it that way. Still, even amongthe rural people of Mexico there are still strong regional allegiances and affinities you can find. Often coined as “Patria Chica” (Small Homeland) which helps to continue and preserve cultural diversity of this rich Mexican culture. Furthermore, the large quantity of existing Indian customs and languages, which is most rampant in the south, also heightens the cultural differences.

In today’s time, there are quite a lot of Mexican artists and writers that has hit the worldwide charts. They have been acclaimed for their innovativeness and creativity. The best part is that these masterpieces contain both classical and folk tradition that has been really strong within the Mexican culture.

It can never be denied that the most popular type of Mexican art is the Mural and the most known school to offer teachings of this art, Mexican Muralist School, reckoned among its associates the most influential figures of all time. Just like the murals created by David Alfaro Siqueiros and Diego Rivera portrays the aspect of Mexican revolution and of course the Mexican culture itself.

Of course, who does not know or have not heard Mexican music? Maybe you have heard it but do not know that it is Mexican for that matter. The most popular types of Mexican music are called Mariachi and Ranchero music, which has greatly attracted a lot of people in this Spanish-speaking country.

Of course, this rich country full of many wonders, cultures and sights still has a lot to offer especially when we talk about its history, does not stop there. The Mexican culture is quite vast but still, for sure, after reading this article you have known a thing or two about Mexico and, hopefully, be amazed of its great and rich history.
